The knowledge and practical skills on how to create and manage the virtual world were mastered by students at the Engineering School, while learning at the "Level Design with Unreal Engine 4" program.

On March 1st, the Noosphere Engineering School hosted a project presentation of students who completed the level-design course.

30 students from the following universities took part in the program: Oles Honchar Dnipro National University, Prydniprovs'ka State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University, Lyceum of Information Technologies at Oles Honchar Dnipro National University, Dnipropetrovsk National University of Railway Transport.

For 5 weeks students evaluated game concepts, analyzed technologies and visual styles, learned how to prototype and build game levels, worked on animation, visual effects and sounds.

Within the practical part of the program, students gained experience in building and optimizing their own game levels, discussed their projects in groups and helped each other with advice.

Presentations were assessed by the mentors of the program and the following judges:

  • Sergey Derkach - Level Designer, Murka

At the final presentation, the projects were evaluated according to the following criteria:
