Student projects on Virtual Incubation Program
WheelKeep startup took part in the final of the training Virtual Incubation Program (VIP)
On August 20, The 16 best teams participating in VIP competed for funding (grant) for project development from CRDF Global. The founder and leader of WheelKeep, Pavlo Herman, presented to the judges his team's development — an invisible system to protect a bicycle from theft.
ABOUT OUR FINALISTS
www.wheelkeep.bike — a student startup, born within the walls of Noosphere Engineering School in Dnipro, WheelKeep has already launched pre-sales for the first batch of its smart devices!
Pavlo Herman — CEO of the project and a fourth year student at DNU.
Pavlo jokingly calls himself Chief of Everything Officer:) It is he who coordinates product development, encourages the team to teamwork, presents the project in innovative competitions, is looking for new opportunities for the intensive development of the project, etc. etc.
Respect to Pavlo for a cool pitch in English that he delivered in the final of the Virtual Incubation Program.
Pavo tells us, "Participation in the program turned out to be useful in several ways: we improved our understanding of the financial model and market entry strategy, worked out the Pitch Deck for our startup in more details. Personally, I have improved my presentation skills in English, which will be of great help in future interaction with English-speaking investors and customers of WheelKeep devices.
However, the main achievement of our team – a feedback from mentors and personal acquaintance with them! Mentors' interest in our product and belief in our project inspires."
