The second student space tournament Star Track by Noosphere

Noosphere Engineering School invites students, graduates, young researchers, university teams to participate in the Second student space tournament Star Track and launch own space research project.

In 2018 we are expanding tournament topics:

  1. CanSat
  2. CanSat carrier rocket
  3. The research rocket complex
  4. Freestyle, if there is a unique idea and new functionality, without limitations on project parameters.

Prize fund is 5000 UAH.

After the pitching session, the jury will select the winners who will be nominated to prepare a prototype of the project for testing. The organizing committee will cover all expenses for the development of the prototype, otherwise the winners will receive proposals for the implementation of the project.

Recall, in December 2017 5 teams won at the first Star Track. The 13 most active participants of the tournament formed a team of the “Student rocket” project and participated in development and launch of an ultra-light carrier rocket and a prototype of the CanSat satellite, which took place on 16 April 2018. 

Teams* should take the following steps to participate:

  1. Apply for participation by 2 June 2018 via the form.
  2. Prepare the report, a short version of the presentation and send it to spaceengineering@noosphere.com. Detailed task specifications and requirements are available here.
  3. On 9 June 2018, at the final pitching session present the solution of your team.

* The team can consist of 1 person.

** Students, graduates of universities and everyone interested are welcome to participate. There are no age restrictions. The team must necessarily include students or postgraduate students.

The organizing committee covers travel expenses for participants from other cities (2-3 people).
